What we do

The Education Division establishes programs to provide financial and supportive services to Ho-Chunk Nation Tribal members in support of their educational goals. We provide for effective communication and dissemination of Tribal information to the Tribal population.

Our goal is to assist Native American students and their families to access programs and services provided by their local school districts, the Ho-Chunk Nation, and/or Johnson O’Malley to promote academic excellence and perpetuate and preserve the cultural values, history, and language.

Disabilities

Our mission is to provide disability advocacy services to Ho-Chunk children and adult students with disabilities so they may access the general education curriculum and benefit from specialized instruction, related services, academic adjustments or reasonable accommodations under the individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
